Program Sites
We are hiring for various elementary schools throughout Prince George’s County. Specific site assignments will be based on your proximity to local schools.
Session Details & Pay
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: 3–4 afternoons per week
Session Length: Short 1.5-hour daily sessions
Typical Times: After 2PM
No Weekends: This is a part-time, weekday-only role

Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Teach chess fundamentals, from basic piece movement to advanced strategy and tactics
. Group Management: Lead groups of elementary students (Grades K-5), maintaining a focused and engaging environment
. Curriculum: Follow provided structured programs—no independent lesson planning or sales required
. Logistics: Handle student check-in/out and the professional setup/breakdown of chess boards and clocks

Requirements
Reliability: We prioritize on-time, dependable candidates who can commit to the schedule
. Background Check: Must pass comprehensive fingerprinting and background checks meeting Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) standards.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to school sites is required
