About the Role
Ben Bellucci Academy (BBA) is seeking high-energy, dependable After-School Camp Counselors to join our Baltimore County team. This is an "all-in-one" role designed for individuals who enjoy working with kids across a variety of interests—including Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Cheer, Dance, and basic Gymnastics/Tumbling.
You don’t need to be a professional coach; we are looking for positive, active mentors who can assist with drills, keep kids engaged, and ensure everyone is having a safe and fun afternoon.
What You’ll Do
Coaching Assistance: Work alongside lead instructors to run drills for soccer, basketball, and flag football.
Spirit & Movement: Help lead basic cheer motions and dance steps; assist with beginner-level tumbling/mats.
Enrichment Support: Guide students through "brain games" like Chess or organized group games (Tag, Relay Races).
Daily Logistics: Facilitate student check-in/out, take accurate attendance, and help manage sports equipment.
Mentorship: Be a consistent, positive presence for students (Grades K-5), promoting sportsmanship and confidence.
Schedule & Pay
Hours: After-school hours, typically 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (aligned with BCPS bell schedules).
Flexibility: 1–5 days per week (we can build a schedule that fits yours).
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements
A genuine love for working with children in an active environment.
Reliable transportation to various school sites within Baltimore County.
Strong communication skills and a "can-do" attitude.
Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting in accordance with Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and Maryland state vendor standards.
